Jamat-e-Islami stages rasta roko

Warangal, September 29: Jamat-e-Islami Hind Warangal on Wednesday staged a large scale rasta roko programme at Warangal Pochamma ground (Iqbal Minar) leading to a heavy traffic jam. On the occasion Organizer Jamat-e-Islamic Warangal, Khalid Sayeed said Jamat-e-Islami’s stand is in favour of separate Telangana state and Telangana for justice. He further demanded that the central government immediately form separate Telangana state or else it would face dire consequences. Jamat-e-Islami has been demanding separate Telangana since day one.

Along with Jamat-e-Islami Hind Warangal, Movement for Peace and Justice also participated in the blockade programme. Activists of hundreds of parties participated in the blockade programme and made it a success.

On the occasion, Mr. Khaja Arifuddin Ameer-e- Jamat-e-Islami Hind Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, Mohammad Afzal president Moment for Peace and Justice, Mohammad Osman state president Jamat-e-Islami, Mohammad Mazher city function hall, Shaikh Ahmed Masihuddin secretary Islamia public school, Mohammad Tahir Western Union Money Bank were present.
