Jamat-e-Islami to organise public meeting on Muslim Personal Law today

Hyderabad: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has decided to launch a campaign to remove misconceptions about Islamic laws. It will kick off the two-week long countrywide initiative titled ‘Muslim Personal Law Awareness Campaign’ (MPLAC) from New Delhi on April 23. The organisation will hold seminars and interactive sessions in all the states during its fortnight-long campaign to make Muslims aware of the rights guaranteed to them under the Shariat Application Act, 1937.

In this connection Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Greater Hyderabad is going to organise a public meeting, on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Exhibition Ground, Nampally, Hyderabad. Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umri will preside over the meeting. Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan, President Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana & Orissa, Maulana Mufti Khaleel Ahmed, Shaik ul Jamia Nizamia, Maulana Abdur Raheem Makki, Ameer, Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadees, Mr. Ziauddin Nayyar, Vice President, Tameer-e-Millat, Maulana Mufti Sadiq Mohiuddin, President, Dar ul Qaza Walifta will be the guest speakers.
