Hyderabad, September 20 (Siasat news): Jamat-e-Islami Hind Andhra Pradesh makes a fervent appeal to all communities including Muslims to maintain peace and communal harmony on the occasion of Ganesh immersion procession on September 22 and after the Allahbad High court verdict on September 24.
After participating in the meeting conducted by the Chief Minister on the subject of maintenance of peace and harmony, talking to press persons on Media Point at secretariat, Mr. Malik Motassim Khan President, Jamat-e-Islami Andhra Pradesh told this.
He also pleaded Hindu brothers to refrain from any kind of provocations and appealed Muslims too to maintain peace and harmony during Ganesh immersion procession.
He further stated whether the Allahbad High court verdict be in favour or against Muslims, full cooperation must be provided to the government in maintaining peace and must refrain from creating disorder.
He said the matter can be appealed in the higher court. He said ‘in case of verdict being in favour of Muslims, they should not try to celebrate it so as to hurt the feelings of Hindu community.
