Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin, Chairman, Minorities Dept. of State Congress appointed Mr. Mohammed Shareef Advocate as the District Chief of Minorities Dept. of Congress of Warangal, taking into consideration his services for the Congress party in the past.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Sirajuddin told that Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi are helping the Minorities, especially the Muslims by implementing various welfare schemes. CM of AP Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has enchanced the budget for Minorities upto Rs. 1027 crore this year.
He told that there is a need to mobilize Minorities cell in each district and to present the welfare schemes implemented by Congress party for the Muslims.
He promised that if there is any injustice done to the Minorities, memorandum would be presented to CM and APCC president.
Mr. Mohammed Jamal Shareef, speaking on this occasion thanked Mr. P.Lakshmaiah, Mr, Basavaraj Saria, (Ministers) Mr. G. Venkataramana Reddy (Govt. Chief Whip) and Mr. Mohammed Mazher Shareef, Vice President of State Minorities Dept. of Congress for suggesting his name for this post. He told that he would visit all the Mandals of Warangal District and would constitute Minoriites committees. He promised that a Minorities committee would also be constituted for Warangal District.
