Jamaat-e-Islami performed its duty by publishing the Telugu translation of the Quran

Hyderabad, August 01: Jamaat-e-Islami-e-Hind has performed its duty (Farz-e-Kifayah) by publishing the Quran in 16 Indian languages. Had it not been done, we would have been answerable to Allah, the Almighty. Jamaat-e-Islami functioned for the establishment of Islam which is its motto. It presented Islamic message before the other non-Muslim brethren living in India. Reformation work was done among the Muslim youths, teachers and others.

These thoughts were expressed by Maulana Khaja Aarifuddin, Emir, Jamaat-e-Islami of A.P. & Orissa at the gathering of Muslim intellectuals held at Mahboob Function Hall at Mehdipatnam.

Dr. Mohammed Khalid Mubashiruzzafar Director, Jamaat-e-Islami, Hyderabad city zone gave a detailed description of the activities of Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that Islamic Social Service Society, Quran House, Al-Rahma Foundation, Centre for the handicapped persons etc. are busy in social service activities.
