Vijayawada: Following the landslide victory of YSR Congress Party in 2019 general elections in Andhra Pradesh, chairpersons of various corporations and minority institutions are resigning from their posts. As these chairpersons were appointed by the previous Telugu Desam government, after the change in government they are resigning from their posts considering it as their moral responsibility.
Chairman Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Bard and former MLA Mr Jaleel Khan congratulated YS Jagan for becoming CM of the state. Speaking to media on Saturday, Jaleel Khan announced that he is going to resign to the Waqf Board chairman post. However, he said he will be available to the people.
Jaleel Khan regarded the post of Waqf Board chairman as little short of snake’s burrow.
