New Delhi, Sept. 17 : Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will undertake four-day visit to Singapore and Hong Kong to address investors meets and participate in the Singapore Summit.
Jaitley will visit Singapore on September 18-19 and Hong Kong on September 20-21.
Jaitley will address a summit on “India: A heaven of opportunity in globally challenging times” in Singapore.
The summit is an annual investment event organised by the Government of Singapore with the participation of various Asian countries.
He will also meet top leaders, prominent investors and fund managers of Singapore.
Jaitley will also address a meeting of Singapore businessmen, jointly organised by the Indian High Commission and FICCI.
In Hong Kong, the Finance Minister will address the investors at the Capital Markets and Institutional Investors Summit on September 21 organised by the Asia Pacific Investors Cooperation (APIC).
The summit will present to select Asian institutional investors developments in India’s capital markets and investment opportunities.
He will also meet the representatives of Hong Kong Tourism Development Corporation and the Greater China Chamber of Commerce.
Jaitley will also have small group meetings with financial sector investors and fund managers in Hong Kong.
The Finance Minister would meet the Chief Executive of Hong Kong on September 21 and is also expected to address an event organised by the Indian community. (ANI)
