Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley on Sunday held the ruling Congress Party responsible for the country’s slow economic growth, and said that if the situation does not improve, it will have a direct impact on employment.
“The economy of the nation is completely in ruins. Investments within the nation have stopped. The industrialists of the nation are moving abroad and investing there. If this situation is not changed, then how will the employment rise? Economic activities will stop,’ he said while addressing a rally here today.
He also reminded people about the Coal blocks allocation scam.
“The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has stated that the losses due to the Coalgate scam is 1.86 lakh crore. The loss is three times more than the budget of Haryana,” he said.
Recalling the Commonwealth Games (CWG) scams, Jaitley mocked the Congress Government stating that people do not remember the winners of CWG that was held in the national capital, but they remember the frauds and fraudsters of the game. (ANI)
