Budgam: A Jaish-e-Mohammed militant was killed in a gunfight that lasted a whole night between security forces and militants in Nawhar village of Charar-i-Sharief, District Budgam.
An army trooper was also injured during the gun battle. The encounter started in the Nawhar village on Monday evening. This happened after a Joint team of Security forces cordoned off the entire area after receiving credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, mobile internet services were also snapped in Budgam District.
