Dy.Director General of Prisons, Mr.G.Vijayavardhan Reddy presented the inquiry report to Home Minister Ms. Indira Sabetha Reddy about the murder in cherlapally jail which occurred recently.
On receipt of this report, Govt issued orders to suspend the jailor and Dy.Jailor of Cherlapally jail. Mr.T.P.Das of Cherlapally jail presented this report to the Govt. He told that 40 inmates of the prison are suffering from mental tension. They need psychological treatment. It is therefore, necessary to consult a specialist psychiatrist. He requested the Govt. to issue instructions in this respect.
