LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh brave lady police officer, Shreshtha Thakur has taken to Facebook to respond to her controversial transfer by Yogi Adityanath government after she stood up to local BJP workers.
The daring and honest police officer with a clean track record said that she was happy with the sudden transfer.
Her Facebook post said, “जहां भी जाए गा,रौशनी लुटाए गा। किसी चराग का अपना मकां नहीं होता।।-Got transfer to bhraich, it’s nepal border, don’t worry my friends I am happy ..I accept it as a reward for my good work. .u all are invited to bahraich (sic).”
Thakur, who was part of the Syana circle, made headlines last month after a video footage of her standing up to BJP workers and sending five to jail in Bulandshahar district went viral, causing much embarrassment to the ruling party .
