Jagitial MLA Sanjay wants to vacate seat for Kavitha

Hyderabad: Jagitial TRS MLA Sanjay today said he would sacrifice his seat to make way for former MP Kavitha, who lost in Nizamabad Lok Sabha election. He said that he was ready to vacate the seat for Kavitha. Sanjay also said Kavitha will not contest from Huzurnagar and has to contest from his segment.
Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday, Sanjay said since Huzurnagar Assembly seat got vacant with TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy winning in the parliamentary polls. He also said Kavitha should contest from his Jagitial Assembly seat. His statement comes at a time when the TRS leadership was caught in grip of panic ever since it lost the MP seats, including that of Kavitha in Nizamaad, Karimnagar and others.
The TRS expected to win 16 Lok Sabha seats and contested and managed to win only nine. It had 11 seats earlier and the number reduced by two. TRS leadership was not able to digest the debacle.
