Government Whip in the Legislative Assembly and Sangareddy MLA Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy (Jagga Reddy) has alleged that MIM Floor leader and Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was trying to instigate communal riots with his hate speeches.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Thursday, Jagga Reddy has alleged that the MIM party was doing politics in the name of religion and TRS was doing politics in the name of regionalism. He alleged that the leaders of the Telangana region were chanting Telangana only for the sake of selfish politics.
He said that both Hindus and Muslims were living like brothers, but Akbaruddin was provoking the Muslims with his hate speeches. He said that not only Hindus but also Muslims would not leave Akbaruddin, if he made such provocative speeches. He said that Akbaruddin has no guts to face the Hindus and warned the latter to behave in a proper manner. He made it clear that Hindus will not tolerate if Akbaruddin tries to destroy the feelings of Hindus once again.
He demanded the Government to declare Akbaruddin ineligible for the Assembly. He said that Salauddin Owaiasi rose as a leader only by instigating false communal riots in the past and Akbaruddin also following his father’s ideology to become a leader.
PCC general secretary G Niranjan has said that the MIM leaders were provoking the people by distributing Akbaruddin’s hate speech delivered at Nirmal in Adilabad in the form of CDs. He submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister requesting for stopping the distribution of the CDs. (NSS)
