Jagga blames Harish for water crisis

Hyderabad: Sangareddy MLA of Congress party T. Jagga Reddy today alleged that TRS leader Harish Rao deprived water to several lakh devotees of Edupayala Jatara by diverting water from Sangareddy and demanded that the latter tender an apology to the people.

In an informal chat with mediapersons, he urged Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to provide water for drinking and irrigation. Commenting on the vote on account budget presented by the State government, he said he would respond after consulting people of Sangareddy.

He said that the CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka would speak on the impact of the budget on the people of the state. He said that the TPCC and CLP would respond on the issue of borrowings made by the CM in the state. He said that the Congress would win 16 MP seats in the upcoming elections as the party was very strong in the State.
He said TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy had worked very hard for the victory of the party in the elections. He favoured continuation of Uttam Kumar Reddy in the TPCC president’s post. He also made it clear that no Congress leader would leave the party.
