Jagan’s yatra likely to reach Nellore on Oct 13

Nellore, October 11: Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ‘Odarpu yatra’ is likely to reach Nellore district on October 13.

As per initial plans, the yatra was supposed to reach the district tomorrow. However, it was postponed by two days as the ongoing yatra in Prakasam district has been extended to several other villages, Congress MLA in Nellore M Chandrasekhar Reddy said.

Chandrasekhar, his brother and Nellore MP M Rajamohan Reddy have come out openly in support of Jagan’s yatra.

Meanwhile, Jagan’s yatra continued in Prakasam district today.

The Kadapa MP highlighted the innovating welfare schemes like loans at three per cent interest, tuition fee reimbursement for students and free power for farmers launched by his father and late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Despite Congress high command’s reservations, Jagan resumed his controversial yatra in Prakasam district on September 3, a day after YSR’s first death anniversary.
