Jagan’s role in Panama papers: Yanamala demands probe

AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today said investigating agencies, including the CBI and ED, should go into the details of Panama papers, which revealed the name of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the alleged scams.

Yanamala, in a statement, stated Panama papers revealed that Vijayasai Reddy is the benami of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy while P V Ramprasad Reddy is benami of Vijaysai Reddy. Panama papers have also said the CBI in his charge-sheet has revealed irregularities in Arobindo and money laundering. He alleged that government lands, which were allotted to Indu project, Indu Tek zone and Lepakshi Knowledge hub were mortgaged  and taken huge loans.

The Finance Minister said the Panama papers also disclosed investment in British Virgin Island through money laundering. He demanded a probe into revelations of Panama papers involving Jaganmohan Reddy and others. (NSS)
