Jagannath Gaikwad files complaint to ensure protection of Masjid Miyan Mashak

The 2nd meeting of public grievance cell of Minority Welfare Department was a big success. Around 48 complaints, proposals and applications were received. Majority of the complaints were related to State Minority Finance Corporation. Secretary Minority Welfare Department Mr. Dana Kishore along with vice chairman and managing director state Minority Finance Corporation Mr. Mohammed Abdul Waheed IFS, Mr. Abdul Hameed chief executive officer state Waqf board, Mr. S A Shukoor director and secretary AP Urdu Academy reviewed the complaints and heard the public grievances.

An 80 year old person G Jagannath Gaikwad surprised everyone present there by saying that he has reached to make complaint regarding protection of Masjid Miyan Mashak and to save the masjid from destruction by administrative committee. Although Mr. Jagannath Gaikwad, who was earlier a caretaker at Andhra Pradesh High Court, could walk with much difficulty yet came to the meeting to make the complaint. He told that he has been living near Masjid Miyan Mashak since his childhood. He told that he is much grieved by the destruction of the masjid. He also expressed regrets and anger on the desecration of the graveyard under the masjid and neglect and slackness of Masjid committee. He told that he is heartily attached to the masjid hence he has come to attend the public grievance cell meeting.
