Guntur, August 31: Narasaraopet Member of Parliament Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy on Monday said that he did not foresee any possibility of Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy leaving the Congress party and forming his own splinter party.
Mr Rajamohan Reddy told media persons that in his opinion, Mr Jaganmohan Reddy was as important to the Congress party as was the party to his political career. The MP said that Mr Jaganmohan Reddy has no plans to leave the Congress party nor of forming any new party. The Narasaraopet MP opined that the High Command would not hasten to take any action against Mr Jaganmohan Reddy as his presence in the party was definitely an asset.
Referring to the completion of one year in office by the Rosaiah regime, Mr Rajamohan Reddy said that Mr Rosaiah lacked the immense charisma former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy was blessed with. He said that this charisma has been inherited by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy.
The MP said that all the members of the Congress party obeyed the orders of the party president Sonia Gandhi, but some of made it a point to show their eagerness in carrying out these orders.
