Hyderabad, September 25: Jaganmohan Reddy, son of late Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y.S.R. Reddy, is visiting the hilltop where his father died in a helicopter crash.
Jagan is expected to spend almost six hours at crash site Pavuralagutta on Friday. He will also visit Nallakalva, the nearest habitation to the accident site in the state’s Kurnool district.
Elaborate plans are in place for Jagan’s visit to the Nallamala hills where he will pay homage to his father and the four others who died in the accident.
Jagan is scheduled to take a helicopter to Nallakalva and then travel in a car for about 24 km before trekking the remaining stretch to reach the site.
On his return to Nallakalva, an all-religion prayer meeting has been scheduled. He is likely to fly to Bangalore after the visit.
After the campaign in his support for chief ministership and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s annoyance over it, Jagan has reportedly asked Congress workers not to bring placards and banners to the prayer meeting.
