Extending full support to the ongoing RTC employees’ strike, YSRCP president and floor leader in AP Assembly Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has urged the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State governments to conduct deliberations with the striking RTC employees.
On Saturday, Jagan addressed an open letter to both the State governments in this regard. In his letter, he stated the situation will not be at this level if the governments fulfilled their assurances. Employees took agitation path only when the governments failed to fulfill their assurances to them, he said and opined that the governments would be in a position to give salaries demanded by the employees if the governments scrapped VAT and checked private transport. He also urged the Chief Ministers of both States to resolve the issue in cordial atmosphere. (NSS)
