As a mark of respect, a statue of Sobha Nagireddy was unveiled by YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the Sobha Nagireddy Ghat on the occasion of her first death anniversary on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagan said, “We shall stand by her family and pray for peace to Shobhakka and her family”.
He released a CD and a cassette containing songs on Sobha Nagireddy on the occasion. A large number of people, including party workers, attended the program. Several MLAs were also present. (NSS)
