Jagan says TD will draw blank if polls are held now

YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today said the “Aam Admi Party” had secured 67 out of 72 seats in the recent Delhi elections. Similarly, if elections are held in Andhra Pradesh now, the ruling TDP would not win and its candidates would lose their deposits.
Addressing a gathering on his fifth day of “Rytu Bharosa Yatra” in Anantapur district, Jaganmohan Reddy said the farmers did not pay loan arrears on the promise of Chandrababu Naidu, who had said farmers’ loans would be waived. By not making payment of loans by the farmers, the interest on the loans has increased to Rs 12,000 and the Chief Minister alone would be responsible for it. He also said DWCRA women were agitating for not waiving of their loans.
Jagan said though the banks have a target to disburse Rs 57,000 crore loans to farmers, the banks could only disburse Rs 13,000 crore loans. Former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy had spent Rs 5,800 crore for Handri, but Chandrababu Naidu has spent only Rs 13 crore, he added. (NSS)
