TDP Politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Tuesday alleged that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has been running politics from the Chanchalguda jail.
Speaking to the media at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Yanamala said that he addressed a letter to the Director General of Police stating that the jail authorities were providing all facilities to Jagan, who was lodged there over allegations of amassing huge wealth illegally.
He said that Jagan was availing all facilities against the Jail Manual and using cell phone indiscriminately. He also alleged that the jail authorities were only providing all facilities to Jagan alone. He asked the Jail authorities why they were not recording the details of the persons meeting Jagan. He also said that the CC cameras installed in the jail seem to be not working.
He also refuted the allegations of YSRCP leader Sharmila that the problems of the Pulivendula constituency were not solved. He asked the family of former chief minister late Dr YSR why the constituency was not developed. He said that Dr YSR family has the responsibility to answer as to why the Pulivendula constituency didn’t develop though the family was representing the constituency for the last 35 years.
Stating that the YSRCP was colluded with the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government, Yanamala said that Jagan struck a deal with the Centre for withdrawal of all the cases filed against him.
Another senior leader Peddireddy has alleged that the YSRCP has changed the Chanchalguda jail into their party office. Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu said the Congress rulers have changed the Andhra Pradesh as ‘Andhakara Pradesh’. (NSS)
