Jagan respects T sentiment

Mahbubnagar, December 31: All parties have initiated the process of getting the inputs form the local party leaders and gauging the winning chances of the candidates in Mahabubnagar constituency. Mahbubnagar seat fell vacant due to the untimely death of independent MLA Rajeshwar Reddy, who later became associate member of Congress in the assembly.

Congress is keen on fielding former MLA late Rajeshwar Reddy’s wife Vijayalaxmi as their candidate. There is a sympathy wave generated in favour of her as her husband died of heart attack at an early age.

Interestingly, YSR party which is trying to enter Telangana is also looking to field her in the fray as YSR party candidate. However, YS Jagan decided not to field any other candidate against her even if she contest the polls on Congress party or any other party ticket.

Party also decided not to field candidates against the MLAs resigned for Telangana. YS Jagan said,the decision is taken in the view of strong sentiment of Telangana people.
