Jagan Reddy to meet Pranab Mukherjee today

YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy will be meeting President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday opposing the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy is on a nationwide tour to garner support against the formation of a separate Telangana state. Reddy had earlier met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urging her to oppose the Telangana Bill which is likely to be introduced in Parliament during the winter session beginning on December 5.

Seeking a “united” Andhra Pradesh, Jagan has string of high-profile meetings lined up over the next few days including that with JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The YSR chief had also met BJP president Rajnath Singh, CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy and senior CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury.
