Jagan protest rally to Assembly, slams CM

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party today took out a procession till the Legislative Assembly under the leadership of party president Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy to attend the budget session started on Saturday.
Addressing his legislators, Jagan said the TDP government announced Amaravati as the new capital city in a pre-planned manner to make huge profits after buying lands around Amaravathi under benami names. He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was indulging in corrupt activities, cheating and imposed dictatorial rule in Andhra Pradesh. He also alleged that the Chief Minister had grabbed fertile lands from poor farmers in the capital region and was luring YSRCP MLAs by offering Rs 30 crore to each.
The Leader of the Opposition alleged that Chandrababu Naidu also cheated the SCs in the capital region. Zonal system in the capital area would help Chandrbabu Naidu’s benamis only. Jagan said he took out the rally along with his party MLAs against the AP government’s “anti-people” policies from Ravindra Bharathi to the Assembly, The Oppostion MLAs wore black flags and shouted slogans against the ministers who have purchased lands around the capital region.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu paid floral tributes to TDP founder late N T Ramarao at NTR ghat on the Necklace road. (NSS)
