Jagan Partner in Cong Politics of State Division:TDP

TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today alleged that YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is partner in Congress politics for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Ramakrishnudu said in a statement that Jagan was tacitly extending support to the Congress in the division of the state merely for getting political mileage.

Terming the tacit understanding between Congress and YSRC as a “ political quid-pro-quo”, the TDP leader alleged that AICC president Sonia Gandhi helped Jagan in getting bail while the latter was extending support in bifurcation of the state.

Lambasting YSRC, Ramkrishnudu said Jagan had sent a letter to union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde demanding bifurcation of the state under article-3 of the constitution. But now he is advocating for amendment of article-3.
Accusing Jagan of changing his stand now and then on bifurcation issue, he said first YSRC chief had said that he would abide by his father’s word who had initiated separate Telangana issue. Later Jagan said it can be done under article-3 and after that he gave a slogan of equal justice. Finally now he was chanting samaikyandhra slogan. He was resorting to ‘chameleon (oosaravelli) politics, Ramakrkshunudu alleged.

Jaganmohan Reddy’s recent Delhi visit was a political visit , he said and ridiculed Jagan’s claim that he met national parties’ leaders seeking their support to keep the state united. If his visit was against bifurcation why didn’t he meet Sonia Gandhi who is the authority in taking decision in this regard, he asked and alleged that Jagan did not meet Sonia Gandhi since he was afraid that the understanding which he had with the Congress party would get exposed.(NSS)
