Former minister Dr P Shanker Rao has reiterated that YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy will come back to Congress party. He said, “Jagan is our boy. Congress boy. On any day, he will come back to the parent party. Jagan named his party after his father and suffixed word Congress”.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Thursday, Shanker Rao said the people of Karnataka voted against corruption and defeated the BJP. He urged the Congress high command and Chief Minister to see that Karnataka result repeated in the State by taking precautionary measures. He said the Karnataka people might have known about Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and ensured victory at one out of four places visited by the Chief Minister for campaigning.
Another former minister T Jeevan Reddy has alleged that the CBI was conducting itself against rules. He said the first charge-sheet will become the main charge-sheet according to the norms and others will become additional charge-sheets only.
Congress MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy said one could be ignorant if he or she thinks that Jagan would get bail. He asked how a person, who looted one year’s State budget would get bail. He also alleged that the YSRCP has transformed into a collection party. He said YSRCP leader Y V Subba Reddy was demanding money for giving party tickets while another leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was openly selling party tickets for the highest bidder.
