The CBI court has on Monday made it clear that the YSR Congress Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy who was facing disproportionate assets case must positively attend the court on May 28.
When Jagan’s lawyer has asked the court if his client’s personal appearance was necessary or if he could be represented by a lawyer, the Judge clarified that Jagan should personally appear on the day as it would be his first appearance in the case.
The judge thus brought curtains down to the speculation on whether the Kadapa MP would personally attend the court or would send a lawyer on his behalf. As Jagan was named number one accused in the case, it is being said that he might be arrested on the day he appears in the court. We have to wait till May 28, to know what happens to him in the case.
