Jagan moves HC seeking bail in assets case

YSR Congress Party president Jagan Mohan Reddy once again moved the petition in the High Court seeking bail in connection with the disproportionate assets case.

In his petition, Jagan claimed that he was a responsible member of Lok Sabha and president of a recognized political party. Considering his status and high position, he appealed to court to release him on bail. He assured the court that he would continue his cooperation and support to the probing agency in the investigations, if he was released on bail.

Jagan told the court that he appeared before the investigation agency and extended his cooperation even before he was formally arrested. It may be recalled that the CBI Special Court had earlier rejected his bail application.
