TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy has described YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as a maniac after money.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, the TDP leader said that it has become a regular practice for the “Sakshi” newspaper owned by Jagan to attack whoever criticized him. He demanded investigation into the involvement of all the ministers of late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy government in the illegal assets scam perpetrated by Jagan. He also faulted the YSR Congress leader Somayajulu for stating that filing of charge-sheet amounted to contempt of court. He strongly suspected that Somayajulu could be a party to the scams.
He demanded Somayajulu to explain how filing of charge-sheet against Jagan could be termed as contempt of court. He said that constitutional institutions themselves had said that Jagan and his family members were buried neck-deep in corruption. He advised Jagan to surrender before a court of law and admit his guilt so that he would get lesser punishment. (NSS)
