(Siasat News) YSR Congress Party President, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met Tamil Nadu CM Ms. Jayalilitha and former CM Mr. Karunanidhi in Chennai yesterday and appealed to them to oppose the Telangana bill in Parliament.
Jagan will meet Mr. Akilesh Yadav, CM of UP tomorrow, he has been meeting the leaders of various parties to muster support against the formation of Telangana. He told the Tamil Nadu leaders that the Central Govt. is misusing Article 3 of the Constitution of India. It is trying to bifurcate the state despite not having majority in A.P. state Assembly. If Telangana bill is not defeated in Parliament, there will be similar demands for the formation of smaller states.
Mr. Jagan told that his visit to Chennai have been successful. Ms. Jayalilitha and Mr. Karunanidhi have assured to consider his appeal sympathetically and they will not allow the Central Govt. to bifurcate the state in an unconstitutional manner. Mr. Reddy told that he will meet Mr. Akilesh Yadav tomorrow and request for cooperation from Samajwadi party.
