YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy here on Monday launched his second phase of “Samaikhya Sankharavam” yatra at Chowdepalli in the district.
Jagan unveiled statues of late YSR at Chowdepalli, Kondamalli, Laddigam, Chandalla and Punganur villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Jaganmohan Reddy called upon the people to teach a lesson to bifurcation politics with their votes. TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has not demanded united Andhra Pradesh at Praja Gharjana meeting, he pointed out.
Stating that Chandrababu Naidu was holding meeting at towns like Tirupati, he said the prevailing situation in the villages in Seemandhra region would not allow him to tour rural areas. He also consoled family members of Anjanna, who had died due to heart break after hearing sudden death of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in a chopper crash. (NSS)
