Jagan is KCR’s emissary: Yanamala

AP Finance Minster Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today said Leader of Opposition in AP Assembly and YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmoahn Reddy has complained to the Centre on “cash-for-vote” case at the behest of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Talking to mediapersons here on Friday, Yanamala slammed Jaganmohan Reddy for becoming an ‘emissary’ of the TRS Government to malign the image of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He expressed surprise over Jagan’s Delhi trip and urging President Pranab Mukherjee and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to make Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as principal accused in Revanth Reddy’s bribery case.

“We have already complained to the Centre on the phone-tapping and sting operation by the Telangana Government. However, the ball is in the Delhi court, he said, adding that “We will fight it legally and politically. Jagan made it to national capital only for damaging the ruling party in the State. Jagan’s efforts were only to malign the Chandrababu Naidu Government”, he charged.

Ramakrishnudu has admitted that the AP Government urged the Centre to implement Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act enabling Governor ESL Narasimhan to enforce law and order in Hyderabad. Ramakrishnudu also said they will soon shift heads of departments to Vijayawada besides finding an apartment for ministers to stay. (NSS)
