Former minister Dr Shanker Rao has predicted that the YSR Congress chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would have great political future after he comes out from the criminal cases.
Talking to the media here on Monday, he has however said it was wrong on the part of Jagan’s mother Y S Vijayamma to state that Congress was behind the Kadapa MP’s arrest. Stating that he was one with Vijayamma in her grief as mother over Jagan’s arrest, Sanker Rao said still it was improper to blame the Congress for it.
The controversial Congress leader has said that none of the ministers had a right to talk about late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He said no one could escape from the crimes they had committed, by throwing the blame on others. He has also demanded that ministers who were facing charges must voluntarily quit the cabinet. Replying to questions, he said it would have been better if the CBI has arrested Jagan when it had arrested Vijaya Sai Reddy, vice chairman of Jagati Publications. (NSS)
