Jagan floated party only for CM post: Chandrababu

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had launched YSR Congress Party as he was denied chief minister’s post.

Addressing the people during his ‘Vastunna Meekosam’ padayatra in the district on Thursday, the TDP chief tried to frighten the people by stating that they would also go to jail if they voted for the YSR Congress. He reminded the people that one judge himself had said that Jagan had robbed Rs 1 lakh crores and added that through that comment of the judge, one could understand the severity of his crimes.

Naidu started his padayatra on the 129th day at the NRI college on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said he would launch a health insurance scheme that would be available to all.

Assuring a Mirchi Board for the farmers of Guntur district, Naidu also said he would make Guntur and Vijayawada as twin cities and turn them into an IT hub. He said he would have outer ring road and arterial roads for the twin cities and turn the two cities into Mega cities.

Terming Kiran Kumar Reddy as a litigant Chief Minister, he said the former had no general knowledge. He called upon the people to drive the Congress out.

Naidu entered Guntur after completing his yatra in the Krishna district on Wednesday.
