YSR Congress Party honorary president Y S Vijayalaxmi here on Sunday alleged that the ruling Congress was trying to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh for votes and seats.
In an open letter, which was released to the media today, Vijayamma said her daughter and YSR Congress leader Sharmila would launch ‘Samaikya Shankaravam’ bus yatra from Monday with a demand that the State should be kept in tact if ‘equal justice to all regions’ was not possible, she added.
Vijayamma warned that TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu would remain a traitor in the history of the State, if he didn’t stop bifurcation of the State. Reminding that the Congress, BJP, CPI and TRS were supporting bifurcation of the State, Chandrababu Naidu did not care to request the YSR Congress to write a letter to the Prime Minister to ensure ‘equal justice to the regions’ if bifurcation of
the State was inevitable, she added.
She said as son of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was conducting politics with high moral values and ethics. Jagan was considering the State more than his own precious life, she said, adding that she exuded confidence that under the leadership of Jagan, Andhra Pradesh would achieve development on all fronts. A golden era would dawn on the State and people would lead a hassle-free happy life, she added. (NSS)
