Jagan complains to Guv against Naidu

YSR Congress Chief and Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jaganmohan Reddy today criticized that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was making mockery of democracy by encouraging defections.
Talking to mediapersons at Raj Bhavan, after submitting a memorandum and CDs against Naidu for luring his party leaders in elections held on July 3 to 5 to win ZP and Municiapl Chief Posts violating democracy norms here, Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that the former was literally buying leaders for selfish gains. The TDP’s way of approach to elect its leaders to local bodies is tantamount to murder of democracy, he deplored.
“We urged the Governor to take immediate action in this regard. Naidu is just misusing power and he must not forget that people are observing his acts and they will teach him a lesson soon”. People are the real Opposition leaders, he said, adding that Naidu should abstain from belittling the Democracy. The YSRCP would have got Chairmen posts for ZPs, Mandal Parishats and Municipal Corporations had Naidu refrained from luring his party leaders, he alleged. The ruling party is acting in a shameful manner, he alleged. (NSS)
