Jagan Claims mass popularity in A.P.

(Siasat News)N.D.T.V. has conducted a survey about the political scenario in A.P. State; the results of the survey were released yesterday. In case mid term polls are held, Jagan will be able to get the support of 48% of the voters. They supported Jagan for his elevation as C.M. of A.P.

Mr. N.Chandrababu Naidu bags the support of 18% voters whereas Mr. K.Chandrasekhara Rao gets the support of 17% voters.

Mr. Veerappa Moiley, Central Minister for Energy has admitted that Congress is weak in A.P. Ms. Bharathi; wife of Mr. Y.S.Jagon Mohamn Reddy claimed that her husband has the mass support in the state.

NDTV also asked the people about their choice of C.M. for A.P. In this case, 48% of the electorate supported the claim of Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy for the post of C.M. of A.P. TDP which boasts of its stability in all the three region will be able to get support by 18% of the electorate. The popularity of the present C.M. has been reduced to merely 11%. Congress M.P. Mr. Chiranjivi gets only 6% support of the people.

If elections are held for 42 Lok Sabha seats, YSR Congress Party will be on the top by securing 21 Lok Sabha seats. TRS hopes to get 9 or 10 Lok Sabha seats. Congress and TDP might get one Lok Sabha seat each.

Commenting on the NDTV Survey report, Mr. Veerappa has admitted the weak position of the Congress Party in A.P. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken the advantage of the name and fame of his father, Late Dr. Y.S.Rajasekhara reddy.
