Jagan Camp Lashesh At DLR For Flaying Him

Hyderabad, December 24: The former Kadapa MP Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s staunch loyalists and Congress MLAs Mr Srikanth Reddy and Mr Gurunath Reddy made it clear that they will resign their posts if the present government failed to follow the ideology and programmes of late YS Rajashekar Reddy.

Speaking at the Assembly media point on Friday, both the young MLAs from Rayalaseema lashed out at the Health Minister Dr DL Ravindra Reddy, alleging the latter was speaking against Mr YS Jagan expecting more posts.

Finding fault with the minister for describing the 48-hour mass hunger strike of Mr Jagan at Vijayawada as psychophants strike, the MLAs asked the minister whether the massive crowds that attended event were not farmers, and said that the minister’s comments amounted to disrespecting the farmers. They alleged that the minister, who never spoke a single word against late YSR when he was alive, was criticising the late leader every day now a days.

Mr Srikanth Reddy said that the Sakshi Telugu daily had not criticised the NIMS hospital and the doctors, and added that the minister has to direct reply to the doubts raised by the daily. He said that it was not proper to the minister to counter the newspaper without replying to the doubts. Refuting the minister’s allegation of Mr Jagan earning lakhs of crores of rupees with the support of his father late YSR, Mr Srikanth Reddy said that the minister has to prove whether the former had the history of visiting the secretariat or meeting with any IAS officer.

Expressing doubts on Dr Ravindra Reddy comments, Mr Srikanth Reddy said the State government might have encouraged him or he might have taken the permission of the agriculture minister Mr YS Vivekananda Reddy, to flay Mr Jagan. He dared Dr Ravindra Reddy to resign as Mr Jagan did to contest the elections, and said that he too was ready to resign for the MLA post. He said that the people would decide through the ballot who were the heirs of the late leader Mr YSR.

When asked whether it was correct to attend Mr Jagan’s hunger strike at Vijayawada being in the Congress party, Mr Srikanth Reddy said that there was nothing wrong in it. He said that Mr Jagan had made it clear that he have no intentions to topple the Congress government till 2014, because it was the government of the late YSR.

When asked about their resignations, Mr Gurunath Reddy made it clear that they will not hesitate to resign to their posts if the government failed to follow the ideals of late YSR.

Responding to a query, Mr Srikanth Reddy said that the close friend of late YSR, Dr KVP Ramachandra Rao would join hands with Mr Jagan on some day realizing the truths. On Ms Konda Surekha’s letter to Dr KVP, he said that it was her personal opinion and he would not respond on it.
