Jagan behind false case against my son: Ravela

AP Minister for Social and Tribal Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu today alleged that his son was being dragged into a false criminal case as my political opponents were unable to “face me politically”.

It may be mentioned here that the Banjara Hills police have filed a case under Nirbhaya Act against Sushil, son of the AP minister, on charges of trying to molest a woman when she was returning home from her school. The Kishore Babu had said yesterday that he would not interfere in any manner into the case filed against his son and the investigation would reveal the facts whether his son was involved in the case or not. However, the AP minister had condemned the incident.

Speaking to mediapersons, Kishore Babu accused YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of trying to drag his son into the case. Kishore Babu said the latter stooped down to a level that he was playing with the life of a Dalit student. “My son did nothing wrong and I have belief and respect to law and judiciary”. He hoped that his son would come out clean. Alleging that Jagan was targeting him because he was striving to fulfil the aspirations of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was taking the State on developmental path, he said.

The AP minister also accused Jagan of creating hurdles in the development of the State and his party MLAs were joining TDP since they are fed up with his dictatorial style. “Jagan has no moral right to criticize us who himself is facing 12 criminal cases”, Kishore Babu said. He also alleged that Jagan was trying to create hatred among different castes. (NSS)
