Jagan Attack Cong Seniors

Prakasam, Septtember 13: The Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Sunday seriously attacked Congress senior leaders who, he said, were daring to throw mud even on his late father, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, former chief minister of the State.

Addressing a huge gathering after unveiling his father’s statue and anointing it with milk, Mr Jagan lamented that politics have degenerated to the level of trying to defame a leader who inspired the entire nation with the welfare schemes he had introduced in Andhra Pradesh and who made the State a role model in the entire world. He, however, said that these persons who were trying to defame his late father would meet their own fate in due course.

Recalling the novel schemes his late father had introduced, Mr Jagan has reminded the people amidst cheers that giving free power to the farmers was the first file he had signed soon after assuming office as chief minister in 2004. Mr Jagan also talked about schemes like old age pensions and Arogya Sri his father had introduced and said no one in the past had worried himself so much about the people as his late father.

People vied with each other to touch Mr Jagan and have his autographs. The young MP has signed autographs to every one.

Earlier on Saturday, Mr Jagan reached Pandivanipalem in Prakasam district at 1 am and the people were waiting for him even at that late hour. People patiently listened to him.
