As far as national politics is concerned, Jaganmohan Reddy and KCR are facing similar situation. YSR Congress Party has decided to support UPA Govt. in the Center. TRS is inclined to support NDA. It is a fact that both these regional parties have been forced to support such parties which they don’t like. YSR Congress thinks that State Congress is the real enemy of Dr. YSR. A.P. Congress is responsible for sending Jagan to jail. In such a situation it is also possible that YSR Congress Party may support a candidate from S.P., Janata Dal (S) or N.C.P for the post of Prime Minster. Such a choice won’t be available to TRS in case P.M. is nominated by BJP.
Political analysts opine that TRS has taken the risk of supporting NDA, which may result in withdrawal f support of the Muslims to TRS.
In the next election, TRS expects to win 12 Lok Sabha and 75 Assembly seats. The decision of TRS to support BJP may irritate the Muslims. They are the deciding factors in Telangana Region.
