Jagan for 10 pc Muslim reservation: exclusive interview with Siasat

Hyderabad, April 29: YSR Congress party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy asserted that his foremost preference is educational and financial development of minorities and told that he would try to effectively implement the schemes which were launched by his father late Rajshekhar Reddy for promotion of minorities.

Talking to the Siasat in an exclusive interview, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is in the fray for Kadapa lok sabha bye elections expressed contentment over the remarkable enthusiasm and complete support of minorities in the election campaign.

He declared that the minorities of Kadapa were always with YSR family and no power could separate them with this family.

Late Rajshekhar Reddy had always given preference to minority issues and their settlement and he would also follow suit and continue to strive for elimination of backwardness among state minorities, claimed Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He stated that it was propagated by some corners and rival parties that he would ally with BJP after elections. Clarifying that he reminded that it was Dr. Y S Rajshekar Reddy who routed out the BJP and other communal parties from the state and the party which follows his footsteps cannot join hands with communal forces at any cost.

Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed that he supports for 10 pc reservations to Muslims on national level and would strive for the same on national level after he is elected as MP.
