Jagadish flays Cong, TDP

Minister for Power G Jagadish Reddy today slammed Congress and Telugu Desam parties for coming in the way of development in Telangana.

Speaking to reporters at Nalgonda, the minister accused the Congress of giving undue support to the Telugu Desam party involved in scams of cash for vote case. He accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to escape from the cash for vote case. He slammed Chandrababu for being ‘kingpin’ in the case and pressing Revanth Reddy for the episode he ran with Stephenson, he said. The case came to light as ACB done its job and TRS is nowhere concerned with it, he said. The law will take its own course and Chandrababu cannot escape despite his efforts at Delhi level, the minister remarked.

Though the TD leader was caught red handed, the TD leaders are trying to find fault with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao he remarked. The people of Andhra Pradesh discarded Naidu for failing to keep his promises, he alleged. As he could not focus on the state issues, Naidu is trying to create problems among Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, he said. One year rule of KCR could prove handy as 80 per cent of people are happy with the transparent governance he asserted.
The Congress has miserably failed to be a responsible opposition in the state, he alleged. He also criticized that Rs 100 crore scam has taken place in the housing sector during the congress regime in undivided Andhra Pradesh State. Many leaders involved in that scam, but low level employees were punished by shifting them to other places, he said. At least now the congress leaders should awake from their slumber, he suggested.
