Jagaan MLAs lambaste gandra

MLAs supporting the YSR Congress lashed out at the government chief whip Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy for ctiticizing them.
Talking to the media, MLAs Perni Nani and Gottipati Ravi said it looked as if Gandra had difficulty even in reading Telugu. He said they had clearly stated about their defiance of their party whip in the letter they gave to the Speaker. They said Gandra should remember that after the 52 by-elections held after 2009, Congress won only 2. They sarcastically said that Gandra also should remember that even those two seats it won only with TDP support. Questioning him if Congress got deposit in Parakala, they advised Gandra to do some introspection, before criticizing others.
The Jagan group MLAs said they would request the president and the chief election commissioner to disqualify Congress for five years, as it failed to implement its poll promises. Stating that they were ready to quit their positions, the two said people would decide the strengths of Congress and theirs if elections were held. They said they were willing to face any conspiracy by the Congress and the TDP. (NSS)
