Jackson to be honored at the Grammy Awards 2010

Los Angeles, January 31: The much-loved Grammy awards is just a day away. The 52nd Grammy Awards are going to be held at the Los Angeles Staples Centre, on 31st January 2010. For all Michael Jackson fans, there is a special treat, as there is going to be special show to honor him. The music fraternity will remember him by a special 3-D broadcast of Jackson’s orchestral ballad “Earth Song” on Sunday night. The unique 3D tribute will feature Smokey Robinson, Celine Dion, and Usher. It was the idea of Grammy producer, Ken Ehrlich to remember Michael Jackson the King of Pop in this unique way.

Beyonce leads the pack of the nominees, with a whooping 10 nominations. Lady Gaga has 6 nominations, and she will open the Grammy awards as well. Amongst the award presenters there are going to be the former winners like Norah Jones, Carlos Santana, and Ringo Starr, Miley Cyrus and Josh Duhamel.

The Grammy Awards 2010 are going to have performances by Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Dave Matthews Band, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Green Day, Maxwell. The Black Eyed Peas are also nominated in 6 categories, and they would also be performing on the stage too. And the Black Eyed Peas members promised that their performance will be rocking, and it will be unlike anything that the fans have seen before. “We’re gonna have some surprises. We’re just gonna do our part and entertain cats that are watching the Grammys,” Will.I.Am told MTV News at the Dipdive Data Awards on Thursday night in Los Angeles. “It’s gonna be fun. [We’ll] make it fun.”
