Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Friday stated that the JAC would not support any candidate in the Mahbubnagar Assembly segment and would leave the decision to the people of constituency only.
Talking to media persons, Kodandaram said the JAC has left the decision to the people of constituency as both the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party were constituents of the JAC. He said that the contest in Mahbubnagar was friendly and people of constituency should vote for either BJP or TRS candidates who support the Telangana statehood.
Kondandaram reiterated that the JAC would make complete efforts to ensure victory of all candidates who resigned for the cause of statehood in the by-elections. He called upon the people to vote out the Congress and Telugu Desam Party for cheating them on Telangana statehood issue.
