JAC protests against Telangana Statements of C.M

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee has issued an open letter to the public representatives of Telangana to use presidential election as a weapon to pressurize the political parties of the state to express their views on Telangana before the polling date.

President of Telangana Political JAC, Prof. Kodandaram expressed his strong reaction against the anti-Telangana statements made by Mr.N.Kiran Kumar Reddy C.M of A.P. He questioned his statement by saying that how can the formation of separate Telangana state create the security problem for the country.

At a time when the situation at the central level is in favour of formation of Telangana state, C.M is trying to put hurdle in the formation of Telangana. He told that the people of Telangana don’t want anything other than separate Telangana state. He told that Mr.Kiran Kumar Reddy has made this statement as the Chief Minister of Seema Andhra. He said that small states are not a danger to the security of the country.

On the other hand there are precedents where smaller states have progressed with a faster speed. He said that we should exploit presidential election to achieve Telangana state. Congress party had made a promise at the time of last election that it will form separate Telangana state, it is, therefore responsibility to fulfill its promise otherwise congress leader should resign from their posts. Prof. Kodandaram demanded for resignation from Sambasiva Rao, M.P for releasing anti-Telangana statements.
