London : Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in an upcoming drama based on Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes, whose blood-testing company Theranos is under federal investigation.
Apparently, the 25-year-old actress has herself volunteered to both star and produce alongside ‘ The Big Short’ director Adam McKay, who is himself writing the film, reports Independent.co.uk.
The movie will bring to screen the notorious tale of Theranos (a blood testing start-up) owned by 32-year-old CEO Holmes.
She hit headlines after the net worth of her healthcare company evaporated from $4.5 BN to zero last week, followed by allegations that the company’s blood-testing device gave inaccurate results.
Interestingly, Holmes was named the richest self-made woman by Forbes last year. (ANI)
